The Challenge

Large industrial operations manage complex maintenance, cleaning, and operational service contracts distributed across multiple facilities and regions. Although companies generate large volumes of operational data, contract analysis is often manual, fragmented, and disconnected from real operational execution. The client needed a solution capable of understanding contractual rules, correlating them with real operational data, and automatically identifying optimization opportunities without affecting operational continuity or service quality. The platform also needed to contextualize variables such as region, schedules, weekdays, and service types to avoid superficial analyses and inaccurate comparisons between facilities. Another key objective was enabling internal benchmarking across industrial plants, allowing the company to detect operational anomalies and cost deviations that would be difficult to identify manually.

The technology developed

BIX Tech developed an AI-powered agentic web platform combining machine learning, advanced analytics, and custom software development to automate contract and operational analysis. The solution was designed to automatically read contracts and commercial agreements, interpret operational rules, and cross-reference this information with real service execution data. The platform analyzed operational data from seven industrial facilities simultaneously, enabling contextual comparisons between units and automatically identifying inconsistencies, inefficiencies, and cost optimization opportunities. Unlike traditional analytics platforms, the solution did not evaluate isolated datasets alone. Its AI agents contextualized operational costs according to factors such as region, execution schedules, weekdays, and service categories, generating significantly more accurate operational insights. The platform also dynamically generated dashboards and automatically selected the most appropriate visualization formats according to the type of analysis and user profile, improving operational visibility and decision-making for managers and stakeholders. One optimization opportunity identified by the AI involved cleaning services performed on Sundays, which carried substantially higher operational costs. The platform detected that part of these activities could be redistributed to lower-cost periods without affecting service quality or operational continuity, generating immediate savings opportunities. The project included onboarding and operational discovery, contract and data mapping, AI agent development, web platform implementation, and deployment of analytics and visualization layers.

Results

The solution generated an approximately 15% reduction in operational costs related to the analyzed services without requiring reductions in service scope or operational quality. Beyond direct savings, the platform increased operational visibility, enabled smarter benchmarking between facilities, and created a continuous optimization process for operational efficiency. The project also strengthened BIX Tech’s expertise in agentic platforms, intelligent contract analysis, machine learning applied to operations, and advanced analytics solutions for complex industrial environments.
