The Challenge

The client is a custom steel foundry with about 1,000 employees and customers around the world. After a downsizing, it had no internal engineers available to take advantage of a new version of its BI software. It needed to:

  • Create two analytical cost dashboards, for logistics and maintenance, on top of data that was hard to access in the legacy system
  • Train key users and ensure knowledge transfer

The Solution

Two waves, each designed with the end users

  • Logistics first, then maintenance
