Machine Learning Revenue Forecasting for ActiveView

ActiveView is an advertising and marketing company based in Tallinn, Estonia. It provides programmatic media solutions and customer management services that help publishers scale their sites sustainably and efficiently.

The company collects large volumes of data from its publishers' operations and wanted to put that data to work: it needed a machine learning model able to forecast the revenue of websites, URLs, ad units, and campaigns, bringing this information to its customers ahead of Google Ad Manager.

An automated forecasting model, from inception to handoff

• Built an automated machine learning model from scratch, trained on the data ActiveView collects
• Revenue forecasts at four levels: websites, URLs, ad units, and campaigns
• Handed the model off to ActiveView's tech team with the code, documentation, and training

How the team worked

A BIX Tech team of 2–5 people worked with ActiveView from October 2025 to October 2026, with weekly online meetings and daily communication as needed through a dedicated Slack channel.
